Converting a file with QuickFileConverter takes three simple steps: upload, convert and download. The difference from other websites is that every step happens on your own device.
Step 1: Upload
Hover over the Choose Files button to see three options. From Device opens your file picker, From URL lets you paste a link to a public file, and Add Folder adds every file in a folder at once. You can also drag files onto the upload box or paste a copied file with Ctrl+V.
When you add a file from your device, it is not sent anywhere. Your browser simply gives the page permission to read that file. Files added from a link are downloaded by our server only so that your browser can read them, and they are deleted immediately afterwards.
Step 2: Convert
Choose the output format, adjust any options such as image quality, page size or MP3 bitrate, and click Convert Now. The conversion engine runs inside your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Engines load only when needed, which keeps every page fast.
Step 3: Download
When the progress bar reaches 100%, click Download to save your file. If you converted several files, you can download them all together as a ZIP archive. Close the tab and every trace of the file disappears from memory.
